As part of Harmony HorseWorks' ongoing efforts to help rescue unwanted horses in feedlots waiting for transport to slaughterhouses in Canada and/or Mexico, we are forwarding this message for Shirley Puga who is working to help place these deserving horses. Dear Friends,
The following 10 horses are at a feedlot in Nevada. The 5 youngsters
are slated to be sent to a slaughter house in Mexico, the other 5 to a
slaughter house in Canada. We have until the end of the day Tuesday,
9/25/07 to ransom/rescue them.
1) sorrel filly w/snip on nose & forehead, yearling

Harmony HorseWorks is a Colorado 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in good standing. We rescue, rehabilitate, retrain and adopt out those horses we can, the ones that stay with us are sanctuary horses and are used in Horse/Human Interactive Training/Therapy (HITT) programs here in Conifer and Evergreen, Colorado. We are partially funded by public donations from charitable people, corporations and organizations. The remainder of our funding comes from sales of equine art by Barbara Wright, sales of Wright-ESCT(tm) books and videotapes, and ESCT clinics held by Barbara Wright. Volunteers help us keep things clean!
