Equine CranioSacral Technique

Mike Nowicki, High Plains Certified FarrierCranioSacral Therapy is a light touch human therapy that works with the rhythm and flow of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) that bathes your brain and spinal nerves. The subtle rhythm and flow of the CSF can be felt throughout your entire body. By working with this rhythm and flow, the therapist can release very old and newer restrictions throughout the body and cause profound changes in humans as well as horses.

Equine CranioSacral Therapy (ECST) (not to be confused with Equine Stress Control Therapy or ESCT) is a perfect way to increase your horse's natural healing process by facilitating the body's own self-correcting response.

ECST can relieve the pain associated with:

  • Headaches and head shaking
  • Low back and neck pain
  • Whiplash
  • Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders and cribbing
  • Poor saddle fit
  • Bucking
  • Behavioral and training problems associated with the above symptoms

ECST calms a nervous horse, bolsters resistance to disease, increases energy and his sense of well being. Your horse will love it!
